The device provides continuous measurement of vehicle FMS parameters, such as fuel consumption, fuel level, vehicle and engine speed, distance travelled, engine hours and other parameters. The standard FMS data and ECO driving information functionality can be extended with optional seatbelt, lighting fleet tracking system or DTC information.

Inventure FMS Gateway G2 can replace expensive and time consuming manufacturer’s FMS interface installation and activation. It represents a general solution for all types of vehicles.

How it works

  • FMS Gateway G2 connects to the vehicle internal communication network, on the CAN bus
  • Get input signals from CAN bus, J1708 and K-line
  • FMS Gateway G2 processes  this signals by using high precision algorithms
  • Data are translated into standard FMS protocol as FMS CAN and RS232 output which is suitable for most of AVL units
  • Data transfer to GPS based fleet tracking telematics system (AVL) which installed in the vehicle
