Inventure FMS Gateway is an interface that provides vehicle specific information (fuel consumption, fuel level, odometer, rpm, pedal position, etc) on its output according to FMS standard (RS232 output is optional). The FMS CAN output messages can be directly processed by GPS based fleet management (AVL) systems. Besides the standard solution, the device function can be extended with optional information on vehicle, such as ECO-driving information, tachograph data and trailer information.

CAN-Bus based fuel measurement is available in most of modern vehicles. It has many advantages over fuel flow meters and fuel level sensors, such as lower costs, easy installation and additional information about the vehicle.Inventure FMS Gateway connects to vehicle CAN-Bus and it collects fuel consumption data directly from motor control ECU.

Inventure FMS Gateway is connected to vehicle CAN bus via non-intrusive, contactless solution (by CL-CAN adapter). This connection ensures safe data read from vehicle CAN bus without any disruption.
